the secret history by donna tartt

“Does such a thing as 'the fatal flaw,' that showy dark crack running down the middle of a life, exist outside literature? I used to think it didn't. Now I think it does. And I think that mine is this: a morbid longing for the picturesque at all costs.”

I am proud to say that I have finally finished a book by Donna Tartt today. I always see people raving about The Secret History and The Goldfinch, but I never had enough patience to read any of them.

A few days ago, I started reading the prologue of The Secret History on a whim. Several pages later, I became completely hooked especially when the five Greek students were introduced.
