starting over again
I can't remember how many blogs I actually own right now. Most, if not all of them, are obviously inactive and gathering digital dust. Since I was a teenager, I have this habit of creating a new blog every time I get hit by an inspiration. I've already tried Tumblr, Blogspot, Wordpress, Medium, Weebly, Wix, and many other website creation and blogging sites. I don't know why, but I have always liked creating and customizing my own blog. Unfortunately, I was never successful in maintaining any of them.
For starters, I can't seem to decide what kind of blog to have. Most of my blogs are meant to be personal, like an online diary, but I also want to have a digital space dedicated for other things I like. My media consumption, for instance. I want to have a portion of my blog dedicated to book reviews, video games, movies I've watched, etc.
That's when the chaos begins. My blog inevitably turns into this huge unorganized mess much like my brain. So eventually, it becomes difficult to maintain and I end up abandoning it just like my other blogs.
So now, for the hundredth time, in an attempt to rekindle my "passion" (really?) for blogging, I created this website named the golden hour. Frankly, there's no special reason why I chose this name. I simply love sunsets and all the breathtaking colors that emerge during this time.
