on getting older
It's 1:00 pm on a weekend. Right now, the people at home are having their afternoon siesta. The quiet, summer afternoon sets the mood for some introspection.
This year, I am turning twenty-four (24). Looking back, I don't think I have changed that much because I still retain some of my childhood interests. I'm still unashamedly obsessed with all things cute. I spend my adult money buying cute stationery, stickers, keychain, and other stuff that may look childish to some people.
I still read a lot of books, just like when I was a kid. The only thing that changed is my preference. When I was in high school, I used to read a lot of YA books. All the romance, fantasy, and dystopian ones. But eventually, I outgrew that genre, and now I am mostly into Japanese and Korean literature.
